After a two-year evaluation and testing program, the Port Authority of Livorno, in collaboration with the Port Company of Livorno, has introduced wearable lumbar exoskeletons to support workers involved in physically demanding operations.
The exoskeletons deployed are MATE-XB models, developed by Comau in partnership with IUVO, designed to provide lower-limb and lumbar support during repetitive and heavy tasks.
